Subway testing Sriracha sauce
If you happen to be in the Orange County, CA area, Subway is testing a Sriracha-mayo sauce for their sandwiches. I had it tonight. Pretty tasty and not overwhelmingly spicy.
We do this, but I have a Keurig so it involves carefully cutting open each kcup and scraping out the coffee. It does require some extra effort but makes me feel better about the one-use system.
I've read through this recipe a couple times. You cook the onions and thyme. Then mix cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, milk and mustard and form into sausages. What do you do with the onion mixture? I assume it goes in with the cheese etc.
Some states, like California, require posting nutritional information on the board. It may be that Starbucks just makes one information board to meet the requirements of California (and New York I think).
I like Green Mountain Dark Magic. I may try the Barista Prime Italian though.
I get a ginormous tin of Starbucks hot cocoa from Costco. I think it must be the Classic stuff as it's mixed with milk. I think it's quite tasty. I use vanilla coconut milk to make it, so I get an extra hit of vanilla flavor.
Sriracha and ramen.
Chicken. I'm teaching my oldest son to cook.
I like canned biscuits but only to use in recipes that mask their icky-plastic flavor. Like this one http://stamps4fun.blogspot.ca/2011/10/traditions.html Dump enough maple syrup, cinnamon and brown sugar on them and they taste just fine.
My grandparents owned a citrus and avocado farm in San Diego County and they had a few macadamia nut tree. Not enough to sell commercially, but I grew up with a free supply of macadamias.
Cruel, just cruel.
WAAAAAY too salty. I think if I make it again, I'll cut down the salt in the spice blend.
I tried this yesterday instead of my usual iced tea (brewed double strength). This was much better and I will keep doing it. I used PG Tips because that's what I had on hand. I might get some Lipton and see what the difference in taste is.
Process in a water bath for how long? 5 minutes? 10 minutes?
I made the peanut butter sauce and put it on some chocolate ice cream. I am in love. Truthfully, I'd be happy eating this straight from the jar.
Weetabix always reminds me of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". There was a character, a British vampire named Spike, who liked to dunk Weetabix in a cuppa blood. I just can't get that image out of my head.
I'm trying this today. It's...different. I've never made bread with ice water.
Sourdough, although Fresh and Easy sells a really good Italian bread, too.
Having a party at my house. Potato skins, hot dogs (including bacon wrapped), and chocolate cupcakes are on the menu.
Ramen with peanut butter and Sriracha.
Wild Yeast, because I love baking bread.
I've tried both and there's a flavor to the Mexican Coke that I just don't like.
We tried an informal test of regular Pepsi vs. Throwback Pepsi and I couldn't tell the difference and the one I preferred was original, HFCS Pepsi. Eh. I don't drink much soda anyway.

ineedtacos hasn't favorited a post yet.
I used to do the thing with the cream packets as well. It was fun and not terribly "gross".
I used to love saladitos, which now the mere thought of makes me feel faint. Oh, the salt!
