Cook the Book: Vegetarian Suppers
I love my easy cheesy orzo -- orzo in a homemade creamy cheese sauce with canned tomatoes, pease, and lots of garlic. So simple and so good.

"Aunt Lucy's Pumpkin Cookies." And, no, she wasn't my Aunt Lucy. :)
I'm a sucker for a good fried oyster sandwich.
Dinner at the Parish Cafe in Boston. An upscale oyster Po' Boy with cucumber dill salad, a couple of fruity martinis, and heavenly white chocolate bread pudding with coffee for dessert, plus lovely service. It's one of those meals that reminds you that it's fun to do nice things for yourself.
Also, I'm glad to see MY favorite growing up made the list. Heitmiller's is still the epitome of chicken fried steak in my mind.
I am from Texas, and I ate a lot of chicken fried steak in my day. Now I live in Boston and I'm a pescetarian, but even so, I get cravings for a good chicken fried steak now and again. The only place to get it here that I know of is the Cracker Barrel chain, and even that is a fair distance from Boston, out in the suburbs somewhere.
I get a farm share of vegetables every week during the summer and stop at the market a couple times during the week for fruits, along with the occasional dairy and bread items.
I love the Dagoba lime and macadamia nut dark chocolate bar.
Fried clams are the perfect way to end any beach trip, in my opinion.
I love Jasper White's Summer Shack, but I've never had their lobster roll. I think the best I've had was at the Stonewall Kitchen flagship store's restaurant. AMAZING!
