(sigh) They've gotten it wrong, too. The Smoked Bacon and Cheddar Double Angus has existed since forever. What they're apparently complaining about is the Smokehouse Double Angus which is the current promotion, but the only difference is that the onion is fried in batter and it has BBQ sauce instead of the regular Angus sauce.

Oh, and you can get Triple Whoppers in the UK too, they're just not widely advertised (they basically just count as a Double Whopper with an extra patty, but you see them occasionally on a highlights board)

And I wouldn't go to Burger King if it wasn't for the fact that we have so few burger places here. It's all about the curries, pizzas, and grillpubs (which usually don't have very good burgers)

I just tried one of these, but they're not really that great. It's not one big patty, it's three small oval ones - one for each "row" of 2 burgers (I think the patty is actually a children's Angus burger). The first row has tomato sauce + gherkins, the second row has cheese and NOTHING else (!?), and the final row has cheese, bacon, and brown sauce (I am sure some British people like brown sauce on a burger but I'm not one of them..)

Oh, and they don't just do the meal with fries. The also do the "6-pack bundle" which is 2 6-packs, 2 medium and 2 small fries, 2 medium and 2 small drinks, chicken bits and onion rings. So they are at least making "tear and share" an option.
