Mid-city San Diego here - it's a cross between Vietnamese food/groceries and Mexican food/groceries.

So I'd say if I had to claim 2 foods, it'd be pho and fresh tortillas. I get my tortillas down the road from my house, hot and right off the flat top.

Oooh I LOVE cooking with harissa. I marinate chicken in a mixture of the harissa, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic slices and onion (and lots of black pepper). Then I grill it. SO delicious.
