I badly want an outdoor pizza oven, but our yard is small, and to optimize style we've purchased a great Malm fireplace reproduction. I am wondering if anyone has made pizza or bread in one of these? Is it possible?
As per conversation in Erin's inside view of R-Gang, we're going to have a tot meetup. October 23rd, next Tuesday, lets say 7pm? Maybe some of you will get there earlier, but I can't!
While looking at Erin's behind-the-scenes look at how the tots are made at San Diego's R-Gang, I found myself wishing there was some kind of city-specific meetup through serious eats. Nothing formal, maybe just a click through to post to people from your city about trying a new place, food-specific events, etc. We're all foodies, and foodies love eating and talking and talking about eating, so I figure we should do that together.
Buttery, flakey brioche with a cinnamon sugar sprinkle - a perfectly unhealthy treat!
Quick and easy beet cavatelli with a how-to on this great pasta shape. It's almost faster than store bought pasta!
The recipe title promises engagement - I'm already hitched, but this is a damn good roast chicken.
Rosemary-olive oil fresh from the oven - made my week a whole lot better.
Forgot dessert? Make some kettle corn with things you probably always have in your pantry. And it's delicious.
Totally delicious, salty, sweet, kettle corn. Made by my financee on a Saturday night when we had no dessert and I was about to cry.
