What are NYC's Most Underrated Restaurants?

i would add Moim in Park Slope Brooklyn. Korean food with a modern twist and great atmosphere. Their seafood scallion pancake with the sesame dipping sauce is pretty close to heaven.

Who Makes the Best Pasta in NYC?

Carbonara at Al di La in Park Slope. Claggy, peppery and crunchy. All things a good carbonara should be.

I have to accomodate a vegeterian, and another person who can't eat dairy, wheat or eggs. Is there a way to do this without having lame stuffing and/ or depriving the veggie of a main course?

I had drinks here once. The bartender turned his nose up when I mentioned a Portuguese wine I liked (casal garcia vinho verde). Then, when I ordered one he recommended, he couldn't get the bottle open! How we laughed.

Life expectantcy in 1776 was about 35 years. By trying to extend people's lives with public health measures, Bloomberg and others are going against the spirit of the constitution. Also, there were no cars, computers or funky pop-up restaurants in the 18th century, so they should all be banned too. Freedom isn't free!

Include ads related to selling food equipment - pots, pans, blenders, nuclear reactors, whatever.

Or maybe do a "Serious Equipment" column. I love cooking but have only just realized the difference cast iron makes when cooking meat! there must be others just as ignorant as me.
