Win Pop Chart Lab's "Constitutions of Classic Cocktails" Poster
If someone has an idea for these celery bitters I just got, I'm all ears. Otherwise, Campari, Benedictine, Carpano Antica, and absinthe are current topics in my mind.

Regional Barbecue Sauces Available by Mail-Order
@ineedtacos Make an account (it's free), you'll be able to choose shipping options. It's a horrible website, but you can get the total down to "just" $14.29. A Google shopping search will turn up resellers as well.
When Bad Things Happen to Good Drinks
A shaken Manhattan is nothing compared to a shaken Manhattan served in an Old Fashioned glass on the rocks, served at a college hangout bar in the 'burbs where "Manhattan" is vaguely recognized as a borough in NYC.
Bubble Tea at T-Magic in Morningside Heights
I hope bubble tea finally busts open wide in the 'burbs. It's still an oddity in Fairfield County CT. PLEASE tell me I'm wrong by replying with bubble tea venues !
Should Your Restaurant Take Reservations?
Please don't use the word "rezzies" ever again.
Who loves their blender?
BlendTec. Don't be dubious because of the "Will It Blend" series--this thing makes blending an event! Ours even keeps track of how many times it's been used (its heritage as a commercial blender, I guess). Gives new meaning to the word "pulverize."
Take a look at ones used at bars or at Starbucks... good chance it's a BlendTec, too.
Rubirosa: Retro Red Sauce Done Right
"devolved to the likes of... Mario's on Arthur Avenue in the Bronx" ...Not a way to win friends and influence people, especially people who are from The Bronx.
Mixed Review: Ghirardelli Brownie Mix vs. The New Baked Brownie Mix
Try the dark chocolate Ghirardelli mix, find it for $2.75 (the going rate at any Stop 'n' Shop in CT, anyway), and enjoy. If _anything_ tastes 100 times better than that, it must be the brownies in heaven. There's no way I'd spend $16 on something that requires the same effort as doing it from scratch.
Seriously Delicious Holiday Giveaway: Russ & Daughters Brunch Package
French toast and bacon!
Win a Free Organic D'Artagnan Turkey
Personally, I like the "more red wine" advice as I find Gewürztraminer distasteful. I gotta like it more than I like the pairing. If I need to pick a recipe to qualify for the contest, I'd say "Buffalo Turkey"!
Taste Test: Root Beer, the Regional Brands
How about East Haven, CT's own, Foxon Park? All made w/o HFCS.
The Ultimate Patty Melt
Ingest 3/4 stick of butter. Add cheese, meat, salt, and cheese. Call lawyer, revise will and get affairs in order.
The United States of Pizza: Connecticut
If you do a followup: http://www.arcudis.com/ (Westport). Renowned for their NYC Sicilian-style pie, which has a tasty crust and weighs about 4.5 lbs.

RSS Feed overload!
A "Top Chef-free" feed would be greatly appreciated. I know people care about this reality TV show (judging by the volume of comments), but as someone who never ever watches it, the amount of copy written, and effort dedicated, to each post about it are inscrutable to me. To generalize it, being able to customize a feed by excluding certain tags (the aforementioned filter) would be great.
Super Peel Aims to Make Pizza Transfer a Breeze
Michael Jackson invented the moonwalk after seeing this in action.
Poll: What's Your Favorite Grocery Chain?
Thanks for including Stew's, even though it's pretty much CT/NY suburban entity with only 4 stores. I hear Wegmans rocks, to the point of being a travel destination, as is reflected by this survey.
Favorite Bread for French Toast?
Not challah, always too thick and uncooked bread-like for me anyway. French bread sliced diagonally works really well...
Seriously Delicious Holiday Giveaway: Russ & Daughters Brunch Package
Bagels and cream cheese, nothing fancy.
Seriously Delicious Holiday Giveaway: Two Peter Luger Steaks
The one in front of me.
Do You Have a Favorite Brand of Butter?
Kate's Homemade or Kerrygold. Both available at our local Stop n Shop, amazingly...
