I am a housewife who loves cooking and loves eating even more. I'm all about the food!
oops, sorry, i see the link
This is just awesome, nutter butters are my favourite cookie. But where can i buy a peanut shaped cookie cutter?
Yeah, Nando's rocks! You guys are missing out on a good thing there, but then again, I am not feeling bad for NYC, it is a foodie paradise. I'd trade you all those fast food chains for one Murray's Bagels!
*kisses* HH
I have pistachio oil at home, if I used that instead of the oil you suggested, plus two cups of pistachio, do you think it would be good or overkill?
Love it :). I like to have mine toasted with a bit of butter. I think if you eat it like a cake, its too try, but if you eat it like a sweet bread, you will enjoy it even more.
I made these on my blog and they were fabulous! This is definitely a keeper. Thank you so much for sharing the recipe.

I've tried this mix, and I thought it was really wonderful, though yes, it did require more clean up after than I would have liked. Fresh from the oven, and still warm, they were great. I actually preferred them to the ones you buy in the shop because there are few things as yummy as still warm brownies.
Bagels, cream cheese and lox of course!

Oh this is easy! I am an American living in the UK, and the treat I miss most are Nutter Butter cookies!
When I first started eating curries, I had greek yogurt on the side. It tastes great with curry and really cools things down.
It may sound a little gross, but actually, they are fun and really pretty good. Whats not to like really? I mean, cake, frosting, candy coating... if you use good quality ingredients, you get a good quality product. They are as good as you decide to make them.
I think people need to lighten up about food a bit. Food should be about having fun :D, why does everything need to be so serious?
I've made eggs in a double boiler. They just melt melt in the mouth, though they take about 20 minutes to make them!
I like the idea of adding a bit of minced parsley at the end. I'm going to try that. And dont forget the smoked salmon ;)
I am an avid sunflower seed eater, I love those things, and especially when they are really salty. My dad used to eat them by the bucket full and I just took after him. I eat them one out a time, just in the same way that jillybean081 describes.
:) HH
My all time favourite desert recipe is hot donuts. I know it should be something a bit more sophisticated, but what can I say. I likes what I likes :D
My absolute favorite food was at Taller de Tapas. I'd go back to Barcelona for that alone. Check out my blog post on it: http://www.donutstodelirium.com/2009/05/taller-de-tapas-is-tops.html
I like this girl :D
Most definitely french macaroons from laduree! ---pistachio or coconut
A giant Prada bag and these cheesecakes!
A toasted bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon, and a few macaroons on the side wouldn't hurt :)
oh my god, dont get too close to the oven or you and your fake flowers your boyfriend gave u are going to melt LOL :)
To me, this is nothing short of stunning. I love it. It must have been a real labour of love.
What a delicious post! I'll keep these places in mind for my next trip :D
This place is not to far from where my mother lives. I absolutely can't wait to try these next time I visit!
heavenlyhousewife hasn't written a post yet.

Today the ritual is unheard of—who has the time for teatime? Certainly not me, but the notion is extremely enticing. I made these sandwiches because it was turning bright green outside and I'll have company over for Easter brunch next week; it felt like perfect timing for something light and elegant. More
The same thing that originally attracted me to this recipe from the Colorado Farmers Market Cookbook, also gave me pause. I couldn't wait to see how the sweet heat of the honey and red chile glaze would pair with the fish fillets and the chopped pecans. This is even though I feared the honey would burn and the nuts would fall off, which is exactly what happened on the first round. Luckily, a little tinkering fixes everything. More
With his burly physique, shaved head, and cauliflower ears, Il Buco Alimentari e Vineria's head baker looks like the wrong kind of guy you'd want to meet down a back alley in Bordeaux. And you'd be right: as a youth in France, Kamel Saci was a professional judo champion. But in his basement bakery, a completely different side to his personality comes out. For Kamel, dough is not an opponent to be beaten into submission; it responds best to a minimum of handling, the gentler the better. The results show his techniques work. Il Buco's ovens produce some of the crustiest and most flavorsome artisan loaves in the city. More
These Grilled Goat Cheese Sandwiches with Fig and Honey from Cooking Light The Complete Quick Cook by Bruce Weinstein and Mark Scarbrough might just revolutionize your morning breakfast routine. Spreading cinnamon raisin bread with honey and lemon zest-spiked goat cheese, fig jam, and little shreds of basil, all toasted together until good and gooey brings to mind a plate of stuffed French toast minus nearly all of the effort.
