Chocolate peanut butter is my absolute favorite flavor and I'll take any sort of variation on it, too! I've had pretzels in it, marshmallows, brownie bites, caramel. It doesn't matter! As long as there is chocolate and peanut butter, I am in heaven!

What is your worst cooking disaster?

I thought I had ruined my KitchenAid standmixer whip attachment forever because it was near impossible to clean off from the sticky marshmallow mess! One day I'll try the recipe again, because I refuse to let the marshmallow win. But for now, I'm still in recovery mode. :)

wow that was an epic post! good sleuthing, guys! if you ever want to taste a west coast bagel, my absolute favorite is Izzy's Brooklyn Bagel in Palo Alto, CA. It's as good as or better than any bagel I've had in NY. MMMMmmm!! Now I want a bagel!

Handel's Ice Cream in Ohio is one of the most marvelous things on earth. My mom grew up in Youngstown, and so I've tasted it a handful of times during trips back east. Still, as wonderful as it is, everything in moderation, right? Wrong.

We're out in California where it's not so easy to get Handel's (unless we want to spend $90 on shipping and handling to have a pint mailed to us). So the last time we visited Youngstown for a family reunion, we had the biggest craving of our lives for Handel's. We were supposed to pack in seeing lots of family over just two days, and the only way to make that happen was to organize nonstop family visits to Handel's. In those two days, we had Handel's for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and as a late night snack. That should tide us over till the next Youngstown trip.

What's your take on restaurants charging for splitting a dish?

What is your opinion of restaurants that charge for splitting a dish? I often read on menus that there is a $2 or $3 charge for splitting. Obviously they can't charge you for splitting if you are ordering your food to go, since they have no idea what you do with the food when you get home. But it's often the case when dining in. I'm sure restaurants have their reasons, but it feels a little bit like nickel and diming to me. Is my annoyance justified? Because I really don't like this extra charge!
