Thank you for the article and for the link to the diner pictures. Boy, did they bring back wonderful memories of a place where I worked in the 1950s in a little village in Ohio. Of course now it exists only in the minds of those of us who were fortunate enough to have such a wonderful hangout. Since I had one of the few jobs in town available to teenagers, not only did I make 35 cents an hour while getting to socialize with my friends, but we were allowed to eat all the ice cream we wanted. Now I've got to figure out a way to get over to NJ from Long Island to visit Holsten's ASAP. Again, my thanks--
