In Season: Swiss Chard

Chard is the king of greens. It makes an excellent filling for tacos, perhaps surprisingly. Saute chopped chard and sliced onion. Use soft corn tortillas. Top with queso fresco and your favorite salsa... consider adding avocado slices.

Favorite SE recipe?

hands down, rick bayless's greens tacos. they sound strange, but they are amazing. and the sauce is quick, easy, and delicious. we make that sometimes with other dishes.
