Behind the Scenes of Ciao Bella's Gelato Factory

Ha Ha this is funny. Ciao Bella uses a powder base. So, they just add the flavors. I know this because I know some one who works for the company they order from.
I tried their gelato for the first time the other day. It was so artificial and dry. If you want some good gelato look for "Gelato Di Babbo". This girl makes it all by hand and it is packaged for the supermarket, in pints. I think she has a myspace page.
