My favorite thing about thanksgiving is the pumpkin pie at the end. The spiced pumpkin pudding pie is definitely going on the menu this year.

A Zingerman's Education: Exclusive Student Care Packages

The best thing to put in a care package for seniors' is Benton's Bacon! Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and good bacon starts the day on the right foot, assuming the student has a kitchen.
I think the ideal package would be:
(as I already said) Benton's Bacon
Parmesan Pepper Bread (goes great with bacon!)
Spicy Sicilian Pesto
Rustichelli Italian Pasta (to go with the pesto)
Sweet Yellow Brazilian Coffee (can't study all night without coffee!)
Anne Keller's Hazelnut Toffee
comforting Cinnamon Rolls too (for those stressful getting ready for the real world freakout moments)

My first baking experience was also my worst. I was making banana nut bread- everything was going really well until i smelled it burning in the oven. the top was completely torched because i set the oven on broil! Then the smoke alarm wouldn't go off because the batteries were old. I haven't attempted making banana bread since.

Grossest thing found in restaurant food

I was eating general tso's chicken when I happened to look down at the piece of chicken on my fork and noticed something black on it. I looked closer and it was a cockroach that was stuck to the chicken, fried, then covered with sauce. Now I always look at my food before I put it in my mouth.

Been in Colorado since '91, miss the Millridge Inn on Long Island and the Sirloin Tips in sauce. Don't need a knife...bit size morsels of tenderness!

for me, there is nothing tastier than a ribeye, but I always order t-bone so my dog can have a nice bone too.

Call me a cheap date, but I prefer a sirloin.
But, I would not turn town a filet, either;)
