I had a cheap little Kodak camera cost me $99/ 4 years ago, and it took the best pictures! I even actually made a cookbook with them. I now own a Nikon CoolPix and I love it. I am obviously not a fancy photographer, but if you are looking for something to get your feet wet with, check them out.

I dont know if this is a category, but we went to this Dominican Repulic restaurant in New York once..it was probably the BEST restaurant we have ever been to. We have a couple other top five, but this is defintely at the top of any list.

If you were a "dish" (culinary or dessert) either/or....what would you be?
I am a lover of food and cook very well, however I am very worried about self publishing a cook book of mine. these are recipes I have developed myself, however in the several years I have been in the profession I have noticed that some recipes are very similar to mine. Is that plagiarism, even if I made the recipe up myself but found one thats sort of like mine?
and do the star chefs, even the internet ones, REALLY make up their own recipes 100% of the time? What about things like puff pastry, I mean there are only so many ways you can make that. The old classic's are the only way to do it, really.
gentlekath hasn't favorited a post yet.
YES! any of that. I forgot my kitchen aide too! Man, I guess i have a top 5 or 6 items I could list!
