Kind of gross, and I probably shouldn't eat it, but can't resist

I grew up eating Carnation Instant Breakfast Bars. They were like a weird chocolate chip bar coated with plastic-like tasting chocolate. Oh how I miss them!! Bring them back!

I love anything Little Debbie, but my favorite is her oatmeal cream pies.

We used to have a bakery in our neighborhood simply called The French Bakery. It's long gone now which is so sad. They had the best croissants I've ever tasted.

Which recipes are regulars at your house...

My weeknight meals are almost always without meat. I usually make a big serving of rice and stir in whatever I have on hand; eggs, black beans, avocado and a little Parmesan cheese. Baked potatoes are in the rotation along with some type of pasta noodle and either butter or tomato sauce. Frozen veggies are a must!

I too am a fan of the Dove Peanut Butter eggs. Oh my, they are so rich and creamy. I still buy the Reeces eggs, but it's nice to have something else to toss in the basket.

By far the worst Easter candy (not really candy) are banana chips. Uh!!! Gross! That was always the pits when you'd open up one of those plastic eggs and find a bunch of dried bananas. Who thought that was a good idea???

What are you making for Easter?

We ordered a Honey Baked Ham and one of their Roasted Turkeys. Sides are grilled asparagus, pesto potato salad, creamed corn, broccoli cheese casserole, spinach salad, fruit salad and Sister Schubert rolls. For starters we are going old school with French Onion Dip and Kettle Salt and Pepper chips, deviled eggs and black bean salsa. Dessert is a flourless chocolate torte, a lemon pound cake and lots of Easter candy.

This year, Dove has some really tasty peanut butter eggs. I noticed milk chocolate and almond, but haven't tried those yet. I intend to grab a bag next time I am at Target.
