We used to have a bakery in our neighborhood simply called The French Bakery. It's long gone now which is so sad. They had the best croissants I've ever tasted.

I've given in to store-bought gravy when heating up left-overs. It'll do in a pinch.

Chocolate covered peanut butter squares!! The kind with the powdered sugar, peanut butter and graham cracker crust. Oh my.....

My weeknight meals are almost always without meat. I usually make a big serving of rice and stir in whatever I have on hand; eggs, black beans, avocado and a little Parmesan cheese. Baked potatoes are in the rotation along with some type of pasta noodle and either butter or tomato sauce. Frozen veggies are a must!

We ordered a Honey Baked Ham and one of their Roasted Turkeys. Sides are grilled asparagus, pesto potato salad, creamed corn, broccoli cheese casserole, spinach salad, fruit salad and Sister Schubert rolls. For starters we are going old school with French Onion Dip and Kettle Salt and Pepper chips, deviled eggs and black bean salsa. Dessert is a flourless chocolate torte, a lemon pound cake and lots of Easter candy.

This year, Dove has some really tasty peanut butter eggs. I noticed milk chocolate and almond, but haven't tried those yet. I intend to grab a bag next time I am at Target.

I love those malted speckled eggs. Takes me back...

I use the sour cream chicken enchilada test. That and the chips, salsa and tortillas are a must!

Those Ad Hoc at Home chocolate chip cookies are amazing! I have been making them ever since the recipe was posted.
