Wow! So many...and so little time! I definitely plan to make it to as many of these as possible! Maybe I'll be able to test at least one baked good from each location because if I walk everywhere because I'll burn the calories! :-D Thanks for all the input everyone!

What are some of the best bakeries in Manhattan that are not overrated and surrounded with nothing but hype like Magnolia, but instead offer just some seriously, delicious baked confections!??! I guess I'm looking for "the best kept secret" bakeries of the city..nothing tourist-ey or overpriced, just the best!
