Heh. My best friend takes a package of skittles, puts them in a bottle of vodka, and lets it sit for a few days, shaking it each night. Comes out tasting just like skittles- and quite amazing

I 100% agree wish BananaMonkey... I mean; i shouldnt have said cold pizza is better, but its just as good in its own aspect.

Favorite dried fruits

BANANA CHIPS. Definitely. And dates... dates taste amazing coated with peanut butter and than dipped in poudered suger :o

The curious minds of children.

I was at my best friends house the other day and her 4 year old neice refuses to eat chocolate without sprinkling salt on it. Needless to say, I was amazed at the fact that she does so (although i like it that way myself).

My youngest sister refused to eat meat until she turned 7.

Do your children or any children you know have curious or surprising eating habits? If so, what are they?

Chipotle, my love.

I have (quite sadly) fallen in love with the Chipotle sauce at Subway. Sometimes i even go there just for it. Yum.

Anyone ever tried it before? What do you think about it?

Cold.

Some foods, like pizza or chinese food (general tso's) that you order taste a million times better the next day cold- straight out of the fridge. What are some foods you guys like best that are typically hot, but taste amazing cold the next morning?

Steak Preferences

Alright. Recently I went to dinner with a good friend of mine to an amazinggggg portuguese restaurant in the area. I decided to order a steak (which was somewhat comical, due to the fact that I was with a 6ft 4 bulky man eating a tiny salad).

I ordered mine rareeee. I mean, heated through but barely cooked at all. I like mine twitching ;)

This totally disgusted him (and don't worry, this wasn't a date. I could be as disgusting as I wished) because he eats his well done.

How do you guys like your steak?

Avacados!

Alright. I bought three avacados at the supermarket yesterday.. the thing is, i've never eaten one. I hear they are good and I've read a few suggestions about superbowl foods on here, bit I was wondering if you could recommend some good recipes.

Ice Cream Addict.

I love ice cream. It's an addiction... I'd love to make some at home, but I don't own an ice cream maker and I can't really afford to buy one right now, so please no links to buying one. I was just curious if you guys knew any alternative ways to make some yummy icy treats, short of snacking on a snow cone (:

Apple Cider.

Anybody know how to, or if you can, make it at home? I live in New England (RI) and its basically a staple, but it gets somewhat costly. I can get my hands on plenty of apples, i just don't know if it can be done.

Frozen Puff Pastry Dough.

I've had a box of Puff Pastry Dough in my freezer for almost a year now, unopened. It's wrapped in plastic so I'm assuming it's still fine? Are there any good recipes that you know of that i can try? Anything is fine, but i try to lean towards the healthier recipes. The only fruit I can think of as unappealing is figs.
