Although I'm not horrified by the idea, I can understand why others find the idea uncomfortable. Adult humans aren't used to (publicly) ingesting anything that comes out of other human bodies.

I cannot stomach too much more talk about "fried human placenta with bacon & onions", and "human breast milk cheese."
I mean, in my humble opinion, human breasts (female, that is) are beautiful creations and should be handled properly (when they are NOT busy feeding infants).
But give me a break . . . "cheese???"

You actually can make cheese from breast milk. However, it takes a savvy engineer to do it. Ask Jonathan White. He's done it.

It is actually alot more common than you might think but still
very disgusting.

Is it less weird that we suck down gallons of milk out of cows' udders? That makes us both the only species that consumes milk past infancy AND the only species that consumes the milk of another species. Face it, we are freaky.
We might as well consume the milk of our own species if we're going to at all. At least that cuts out half the freaky.
The vegans have got it right.

I am not kidding when I say that someone who used to work with Alton Brown told me that Alton made cheese from his wife's breast milk. Urban legend? Maybe. Believable though? I wouldn't doubt it that he would try it if the thought occurred to him.
