NE Style Seafood Shack on the North Shore of Long Island?

Lobster Roll is over priced and sub par but they do have blowfish. I go there once and a while for their blowfish. They are best known for famous customers and if you want to have that experience you have to go to Amagansett. The vineyards I suggested are based on the quality of the wine. Channing Daughters is nice is you want to look at upside down trees as works of art. Do yourself a favor and skip Pindar. Martha Clara has great sparkling wine but thats about it. I am partial to Grapes of Roth by Roman Roth. If you go to Roanoke try some. It was the highest ever rated merlot in NY at 92 points by the Wine Advocate.

PJ Lobster House is great in Port Jefferson. For wineries, I would recommend Roanoke Vineyards, its my personal favorite. Roman Roth makes the wines, the owner Richard is great too. Richard and Roman work for Wolffer Estate Vineyards, which is outstanding as well and Roman makes his own line of wines. Roanoke has their wines, Roman's and Wolffer's. Roanoke vineyards is on the North Fork unlike Wolffer which is in the Hamptons and Roanoke stays open late on the weekends. On the North Fork I would add Shinn Vineyards, Bedell, Corey Creek, Lieb and Peconic Bay. If you like Rose you have to go to Croteaux. Its off the beaten path and has a great french garden.

If I don't have the will to squeeze a few of my own, Newman's Own is OK

Muddle together sugar and mint. Let sit for a little while, then add in plenty of fresh lemon juice. Mix in water to taste (seltzer water if you're feeling fancy), adjust sweetness/sourness, strain and serve, please!

Simple syrup, or honey. Lot's of lemon juice. I like tart lemonade!

Simple syrup squeezed with lots of fresh lime juice, fresh lemon juice (not concentrate or powder!) and filtered tap water. Shaken vigorously with a ridiculous amount of ice, and sometimes raspberry stoli.

I loves me the lemonade from Hot Dog On A Stick. So good - and freshly beaten lemons taste so good!

I don't have a juicer, so from the store is usually the way I go. But if I do make it... it should be pretty tart, not too sweet. It's about the lemons, not the sugar.

I make a pitcher of frozen lemonade and add a sliced lemon to it. The lemonade picks up a lot of flavor with very little effort.

Yea... I like to get that bottled lemonade that's all juice. Green top? Then I water it down a bit (all juices are too sweet for me right out of the bottle), and I might dash in some mint. All that blended with ice is nice too.

Fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, champagne, gin, shaken with ice, served in a martini glass with a brandied cherry. I believe this is called a French 75 at Michael Symon's Roast in Detroit.

I like using the Countrytime Lemonade mix. Quick and easy and tastes good.
