I'm kind of a noob, but the 10 year Single Malt from Bushmills is my favorite so far. Still trying to try more (as well as some Scotch, thanks to the other article)!

I have a ceramic knife I got for Christmas... I didn't expect much but it's turned out to be my go-to knife for cutting up veggies. Since I don't eat much meat anymore, I'd have to say that's my favorite.

I first had these at Pappasito's as well and recreated them at home. I've found that cheese sticks usually work really well for the cheese, especially the frigo light cheesehead ones.
I realize quality may not be the best, but they don't melt quite as quickly so you end up with more cheese in the shrimp than on the coals.
I have a fun size Snickers in the freezer here at work just waiting for a 3p snack.

I was camping in Iowa over the weekend and we had Cedar Ridge Bourbon Whiskey. I'm relatively new at this game, but it was perfect for sipping around the fire.
The orange and blue ones taste the best.

You could head south down 75 to Deep Ellum - Cane Rosso (VPN pizza) is there, it's been mentioned a few times here on SE and is my favorite pizza in the city. There are some good burger places down there too (Twisted Root, Angry Dog, Anvil Pub).
Komali is Mexican food, might be good for a fancier dinner (not super-fancy, but definitely higher end Mexican). It's on Cole in Uptown.

The pizza is so good that I never really consider trying the sandwiches or pasta... might have to change that.

I love my dad's hamburgers. It is the only time I eat Miracle Whip.
To me, there is nothing more frustrating than seeing pictures of a something delicious on a blog, reading a great story about how much said dish means to the family, and then getting to the bottom of the post with nothing more than "sorry, no recipe, it's a family secret." I'm probably not family, and I won't ever get to try it.
If you want to keep it a secret, fine, but don't do a blog post about how awesome it is and then not share how I can replicate it at home.

I just won one of the D'Artagnan turkey contests, but now I don't know what to do with it! My family already has our bird thawing in the fridge, and there are only going to be 7 of us so we don't need another one.
Thanksgiving is pretty much the only time I eat turkey, so I'm kind of a noob here. Any suggestions?
