Cook the Book: 'Whole Grains: Every Day, Every Way'
Oats, brown rice, and whole wheat bread. Haven't really been able to get into the more exotic grains yet.

some sort of stir fried vegetables, maybe some chicken with brown rice. Either that or a salad, but if the latter it has to be interesting...nuts or cheese or *something* other than green stuff. unless said green stuff happens to be exceptionally good, which in january is a losing proposition from the start. Ooh, or some sort of awesome homemade soup.
Fresh vegetables--like, from the back garden fresh. Stupid january.
Braising in the winter, grilling in the summer.
Any kind of hearty roasted vegetable soup, with crusty bread and maybe some cheese. Mmmm.
...I have to choose between gelato and tiramisu? Ok, fine, gelato. But don't make me pick a particular flavour.

sweet sweet quinoa (although technically that's a seed, and not a grain. so if i were being technical, i'd say the humble yet delicious brown rice)
I just found out about quinoa, so I think that would be an interesting addition.
i'm eating some whole grain bread right now!
I buy nothing but whole wheat breads and cereal!
