Favorite Pizza Condiment??
High quality extra virgin olive oil (I like Colavita) for dousing and also chili pepper oil made with red pepper flake and olive oil.
All other condiments IMO just mask of the true flavor which is fine if you're not paying a premium for the pizza you're slathering in hot sauce, ranch, bacon, mayo, ketchup, etc.....
Cocktails and Spirits with Paul Clarke: The Gin Boomlet
The new Beefeater 24 is a great gin to serve in a martini in which you merely stare at the vermouth. Tanqueray Rangpur on the rocks is a nice drink for a weekday. I prefer Seagram's for G&Ts when I plan on having more than a couple. Hendricks or Plymouth go great in this cocktail: http://www.nydailynews.com/lifestyle/food/2007/05/24/2007-05-24_best_tipple_in_town_-1.html
Serious Eats Is Bringing Hot Doug's to NYC October 7
Thanks for the head's up Ed!
I used to live out in the midwest and try to get back to Hot Doug's whenever I can. I've waited many hours on cold winter days on the corner of California and Roscoe for a hot order of duck fat fries and one of the speciality dogs. I just snapped up a ticket and can't wait to see him NYC.

Wow, this guide has everything I wanted to know about shopping for Chinese ingredients in New York. It's very helpful. Thanks for all the hard work Ava!
My go to place is Hong Kong Supermarket on Elizabeth and Hester. The vegetables are usually pretty decent there (they recently remodeled the vegetable section of the store) but the noodle selection is lacking. I definitely agree about the Twin Marquis Brand. It's great to know about the two noodle manufacturers that do retail.
