i was reading about your kitchen reno - sounds very exciting. I've recentley moved to a much smaller home, and sadly smaller kitchen. When faced with fridge space decided on the exact same Liebher -love it, no complaints. Trying to find a price on a 30" blue star on the internet and coming up empty - do you have a price range or a website where I can browse pricing without being harrassed by a sales rep. That should give you an idea, but I think it's always best to try to get a quote from an actual person.
The BlueStar website offers a list of distributors by state, so you should be able to go there to find the distributor nearest to you. http://www.prizer-painter.com/where_to_buy.html
There you should be able to check out a floor model, get legitimate pricing and some feedback from salespeople (I don't tend to like 'em much either, but sometimes they do provide valuable insight).
