Where is the best pizza in Maryland?

Giseppi's in Rockville, MD is my favorite pizza in the Maryland area. I live in NYC now and even though the pizza I can get here is way better, I still go to Giseppi's everytime I visit my parents! It's worth a try, they have delicious slices and I think it is way better than Ledos. Mamma Lucia is also pretty solid.

Restaurant in DC for my mom's 60th birthday

Hi Serious Eaters,

I live in Chicago now but am going to DC in February for my mom's 60th birthday. We are looking for a nice special occasion restaurant for a 4 person dinner (somewhere that takes reservations) in NW DC (preferably on the red line). Any suggestions would be very helpful! Preferably nice American food (farm to table is a plus) but am open to suggestions. We eat everything. Thanks!
