Pigging Out at Fergus Henderson's St. John Restaurant, London

Can't agree with you more. We ate at Fat Duck, Nobu and St. John last time we were in London and it was our favorite. (or should I say "favourite?")

Our meal featured some of the above mentioned dishes as well as "squirrel liver on toast." Also great.

Which City Has the Best Pizza?

Going to chicago this weekend to eat pizza. What are the odds.
I have to say that I know the deep dish style well in the windy city but am looking forward to exploring my thin crust options.
Spacca Napoli, maybe?
Anyway, I vote for Phoenix. Purely based on Chris Bianco.

Wilber's Barbecue

Grew up in Raleigh with many trips to the beach with dad. Always stopping at Wilber's.
School at ECU made me a big fan of B's in Greenville but Wilber's holds great memories.

Southern Foodways: Cliff Collins of Cliff's Meat Market

Growing up in the area, and buying from Cliff for home and work, it was great to be reminded of his role in the community and its restaurants.
I've been lucky to find an actual butcher in my new home but I'm sad to see their quick dissapearance from our cities and towns
Thanks

What's Your Go-To Weekday Breakfast?

Since I was in grade school, (i'm forty), my go-to weekday breakfast has been Morningstar farms soy breakfast sausage. One minute in the mic and off you go.
I've always thought these to be underated.

Question of the Day: Carolina or Kansas City barbecue?

seriously, eastern north carolina bbq is the only one that balances all the flavors you look for in bbq. its tart, a little sweet, (hopefully from the pork), spicy and salty. B's BBQ in greenville is the epicenter.
driving through memphis and arkansas to try what had been said was the best of its kind i was sadly disappointed. too many similarities to national bottled sauces for me

Pies Across America: Who Makes the Best?

must say that my friend phoebe lawless makes a mean pie, though she did work with karen at the grill. i believe she's made a pie made with bacon fat that was excellent.
