I agree with you about the Kesso yogurt even better than Fage - which is imported from Greece. Now Cabot makes a Greek style yogurt which may be the best of all. Looks like a side by side show down in in order.

Cook the Book: 'How to Roast a Lamb'

I can never answer the "favorite" question. Lamb is a staple in our house and of all the wonderful preparations from tagine to stuffed breast the stand out is the youngest baby spring lamb simply roasted with thyme and olive oil.

Tacos and Tamales at Lupita Grocery in Astoria

Lupita is great.
Their tacos are good.
Their tamales that they only make during cold weather on the weekends until they sell out are wonderful - crave inducing delicious
They are better than Original Mexican Grocery on 29th Street and 30th ave
who specialize in them and can be inconsistent
the owners are very nice
and yes they have mexican sodas
