Manchester, Connecticut: A Flawed But Classic Baby Boom Burger from Shady Glen

I live very close to Manchester, and although this place doesn't serve the best burgers, they do serve some of the best burgers in the area. The "quiet corner" of Connecticut, as it is sometimes called, is not known for its restaurants. And now, I am craving one of those burgers and a malt!

Should Hot Dogs Carry Warning Labels?

Warning label or not, I think it is important to keep in mind that cancer is still a big mystery. NO ONE really understands the cause of each different type of cancer, and most cancers are probably caused by a number of factors.

If you eat multiple hot dogs a week, maybe you should cut back, but otherwise, don't worry about eating a hot dog every once in a while!

Also, are kosher hot dogs cancer-causing as well??

My biggest baking success would have to be peach crisp - I use peaches, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a lot of butter! And then, I top it with vanilla ice cream, of course...The best thing about this dish is that you don't have to measure anything!

My boyfriend is not a sushi fan, so I often pick some up for dinner alone. Either that, or my favorite food of all time - pasta! When I'm alone, I have it plain with butter, salt, garlic, oregano & I add so much parmesean that others would probably find it gross, haha!
