When will we hear from Ed Levine? All of the comments here and no word from the Serious Eats people? This is just as disappointing as yesterday was.
The Great American Food & Music Fest Is Today!
It was a pretty uneven experience.
No crowd control, no order to the lines, no communication. We had 1 dish, the brisket, which was fabulous. We waited in line for about 10 minutes for the bagels only to be told the wristbands were no longer working and we had to get in another line to get our cash back from those so we could wait in another line to purchase food. That was when we decided to leave. We did get our event price refunded which was good. All told we would go again if it was a MUCH larger venue. The people we talked to said the various vendors were not expecting the crowds that were there and it was pretty obvious from the start that the event was MUCH bigger than the Shoreline is capable of holding.

wow, I know it's been said a thousand times, but that is more what I was expecting on Saturday..I still have hopes for future events though..
