Olympic Figure Skater Brian Boitano in a New Food Network Series
This is exactly why we dropped our cable. We didn't watch much besides Food TV and HGTV, and both networks' shows had just gotten ridiculous.
Chocolate Banana Caramel Cake
I had the same problem with the batter consistency that gypsy91 had. Fortunately, I noticed how thick it was before I got it in the pan and came in here to see if anyone had had the same problem. I added a little under 1/3 cup of milk and it worked beautifully. The batter was still thick, bit it poured.
This cake is outstanding. Definitely use the glaze and this one is a real keeper. :)
Broccoli Soup
I just made a pureed broccoli soup a couple of weeks ago while I was putting together soups for the freezer for when I had to go on a liquid diet. I've found the same thing you've found. Even though my recipe was different, it's just not that flavorful. I much prefer brocolli as a veggie and not a soup, so I'll probably skip it next time I'm looking at a pureed soup.

This was really good. I made a couple of changes (added 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon and nutmeg and used drained plain yogurt rather than Greek). I also used a regular bundt pan since that's what I have. Froze the cake on Friday and brought it out to thaw Wednesday morning.
Very moist and very pretty cake. Nice contrast in tastes, too. :)
