Am I being too sensitive or do women still get the crappy tables?

I may add that I may have imprinted on my forehead "take me to the worst table in the place" but I never sit there.

JUST SAY NO! Every restaurant tries to fill their worst table first so they can relax for the rest of the night. As soon as they take you to a horrible table in a barely filled restaurant tell them-"-well no, I won't be seated here" in this economy who wants to lose a 4 top? Also, "I have had a reservation for two weeks--did you think I wanted to sit next to the restroom?"

You will prevail or, just leave--some times a coffee shop or diner without the
disgruntlement of spending a lot of money near the john makes the night more pleasurable.

Who needs to be seated by the mindless "barbie" at the hostess desk who cannot discern between a "good" table and the only one she can see from the podium.

How to Make Thin-Crust Focaccia Pizza

Where can I get a black pan like that one? A friend's Nonna used one like that for the pizza she made every friday. I'd swear that's the difference between what I make and what I ate in Italy.

Eating in Salt Lake City

Thank you all--good to know. I just heard that you can get a decent drink too although I hear it's a 1 ounce pour and no doubles allowed. High-end wine seems to be the remedy for that.
