The Mustards in My Fridge; Which Are in Yours?

I am OBSESSED with the organic yellow mustard from whole foods. We're talking serious obseesion here, like I have to buy a bottle every time I see it for fear there might be an earthquake, or more horrifying: an organic whole foods mustard shortage.

Cook the Book: 'On the Line'

I had a scallop dish at the Dining Room at the Ritz Carlton in San Francisco and just about fell off of my chair it was so good-- fresh sea scallops seared to perfection with caramelized salsify and shallots with creamy buttered wild mushrooms and a delicate natural jus. So amazing.

Mustard of all varieties especially the 365 organic stone ground yellow from whole foods, super acidic and tangy. Yummy. I just got my Mom into dipping her chips into grey poupon, sooo much better than ketchup!

Favorite foods: Seared scallops with caramelized salsify and shallots with a natural reduction from The Dining Room at the Ritz Carlton San Francisco. Clotted cream, chocolate, macaroni and Cheese, red bell peppers, spinach, green grapes, fresh sweet pineapple, mustard.

Last bite on earth: Pan-fried wild abalone with lemon juice, seared fresh scallops, truffled macaroni and cheese, italian drinking chocolate from the chocolate bar in Harrods, Cheeseburger with farmhouse aged cheddar and grey poupon, La Bete Noire made with Valrhona.
