Actually, there is a chicken wing soup. I was raised in Buffalo (go BILLS!!!), and a local restaurant created an absolutely delicious chicken wing soup. It is served in massive amounts at the National Chicken Wing Festival every single year, and even when it is 80+ degrees, people still devour it by the bowlful!

Hahahahaha...being a college student does mean doom. No breakfast means that your third meal happens sometime after 930. So, our late night dining option is only open till midnight on weekdays, so if you don't get that, you eat whatever you can. Yesterday, I had chef boyardee raviolis at 1 in the morning. Chex mix is always good...chocolate peanut butter lindt truffles are amazing...fun dip...ummm...popcorn. Basically whatever you can get your hands on at that ridiculous hour.:)

There was a recipe for Chicken Wing Soup in the Buffalo News awhile back. I had clipped it out. I'll try to locate it, and post it over the week-end.
dessertyummy....I'm in WNY. :-)
The game was bad for us...but like GurglingCod...no bandwagon jumpers here either!

How does it work? The soup, I mean.
I should add that some of my best friends are Bills fans, and that I grew up with many a 2-14 Patriots team, and so am no bandwagon jumper.

I hate to admit but I am DEFINITELY a midnight snacker. Not only can I not go to sleep hungry if I tried but I always get hungry at night. So no, you're not alone. I sometimes have full meals at midnight...sigh...

I'll have horrible guilt if I eat late at night....I usually cut myself off at 8:00 p.m. and have no food after. If I ever do break my rule, it's usually for cold mexican leftovers: rice, beans, homemade enchiladas and taquitos. I'll have a few forkfuls of everything...nothing else is worth the guilt.

Alright college students! We seem to have the midnight snack down. Last night was an exception--someone stopped by my room at 1:30 AM with a pot of risotto. Usually I have a cup of something hot and a handful of nuts and dried fruits. But if I'm not feeling virtuous, I find myself with a spoon and a jar of peanut butter, raiding the bag of chocolate chips I keep on hand to bake with, or even, horribly, posed with utensil in hand and a can of sweetened condensed milk. It's bad! =)

I too am a college student and like it's previously been stated, it's hard to have a decent midnight snack (or meal for that matter!) living in a dorm. Usually I reach for some yogurt or some crackers with peanut butter.

I never (have, or do) go to bed on an empty stomach. Its how I get a good night's sleep and maintain my girlish figure even over 40.

My favorite is just a piece of toast with peanut butter on it.

I would have been so wired by the sugar and caffeine, I could never get to sleep after that! :D

Sometimes I wash them down with Coca Cola. I seem to be immune to the caffeine effects. I gotta stop, though, or my teeth are gonna rot out.

Popcorn! Cooked in peanut oil on the stove and sprinkled with salt and grated Parmesan cheese. This is my favorite late-night snack or sometimes even dinner.

This sound so good I might have to go get everything to make it right now!

I had ten mini Reese's Peanut Butter Cups at 11:30pm. Is that wrong?

When I was a teenager, I was asked (or forced) to bring mexican seven layer dip to just about everything. It was my mom's recipe, and used sour cream mixed with a packet of taco seasoning for the sour cream layer, so it was different than what you buy at the store.

Nowadays, I'd say it's a toss up between my triple lemon cupcakes (which I usually just make at easter) and my brownies, which are actually Martha's. :)

I don't have a 'bring this or die' dish, but my mom is not allowed into the houses of several cousins without one of her pecan pies. "If Annie isn't bringing pecan pie she doesn't need to come." is the battle cry. And I think they're serious....
