Have You Ever Experienced Pine Mouth?
We noticed the pine mouth thing after eating raw pine nuts from China that we'd bought from Trader Joe's. Turns out they changed their sources at some point from Australia (I think) to China, and that's when we noticed the change. But it could be a coincidence. We were eating the pine nuts as part of a raw diet, so we'd soaked them in water for a day before blending them. Metallic and awful for a week, we haven't eaten them since.
