Cook the Book: 'Edible: A Celebration of Local Foods'

I'd like to read about the trio of chefs who run The Glass Onion in Charleston, SC.

Do you shop Farmers' Markets or belong to a CSA?

I've been shopping at farmers' markets (in Carrboro, NC and Charleston, SC) for years, but this spring I am going to try a CSA for the first time. It's tough to choose just one, though! We have found one that offers a wide variety of great produce (figs, field peas, okra, Meyer lemons, etc.) but one with more standard offerings (zucchini, corn, tomatoes, etc.) that allows you to assemble your own box at their farm stand. I don't know which to choose, but I guess that's a nice dilemma to have. :)

The Glass Onion in Charleston, SC, changes its menu daily and has great comfort food made with mostly local ingredients. Love it!

I love prosciutto in a recipe I found on the last page of a 2008 *Gourmet*: with fig jam, butter, manchego, black pepper, and olive oil on a slice of baguette. It's delicious!
