Cooking fried chicken is very easy and you will do great. I cook it quite often. Once you wash chicken, pat dry. I lay mine out on paper towels and one secret to great fried chicken is to make sure you salt it. Heat oil at about medium temp, you don't want to cook it too fast. Put in enough to come up about half way on the chicken. Once its salt and peppered and oil is hot, coat it good in flour. I'll use a big zip lock bag and shake it to make sure well coated,then place in hot oil. Be patient once you see its browning well turn it and cook until nice and brown. I drain mine on a rack. If you see that its cooking to fast just turn down a bit.Good luck and I know it will be great.
