Anyone know a good, simple salsa recipe?
I am looking for an easy salsa recipe that can preferably be prepared without a food processor. I am in Germany and can't find any decent salsa.
I love to make a mexican 7 layer dip and I use Morning Star Farms crumbles for the meat substitute and regular taco seasoning plus lettuce, tomato, refried beans, onions, cheese, and olives.....that's 7 right? :)
I meant fried haddock. I personally haven't eaten fish in probably 20 years, since being vegan. I am no longer vegan, but don't really like fish. I will suck it up and deal with it. There isn't much I don't eat, but you are all right...we will survive! :)
Where I live you can barely find bagels (Germany). I was getting really bummed and then I found them for about $2 a bagel! I saw this recipe and made it...they came out great and we are back in business! Thanks.
I made this and was blown away. I am in Germany and they do not have anything like this here. I am missing home badly and wanted a taste of Syracuse. This was the best eggplant I have ever made at home for sure! Thanks!
Banana peppers and black olives are hands down the best. The peppers have just enough kick to get your nose running without overpowering!

My wife, my 3 y/o daughter and I were invited to dinner at a very kind families house here in Germany. We got a sneak peak at the menu and don't know what to do. We need advice! The dinner is fish, cheese, and hard boiled eggs. None of us like fish (tust me this won't be boiled haddock), my wife and daughter don't like hard boiled eggs. Anyone have any ideas how we can not offend these people?

Funny article. I lived in Germany for a year and can tell you even the cheap Aldi or Lidl (both discount grocery stores in Germany) brand Nutella tastes much better than the canadian Nutella. I would also have to say pretzels also tastes better, on the other side of the coin jarred tomato sauce and Mt. Dew tastes much better here.
