Colin Parent dines mostly in San Diego. He learned to eat while at law school at New York University. At home he bakes pizzas, and when eating out, his orders alternate between hamburgers and sweebreads.
Favorite foods: Besides hamburgers, pizzas, and sweetbreads? Sausages, craft brews, pan-fried tofu, and anything from a late-night San Diego taco shop.
Last bite on earth: Truffled egg toast from Ino in the West Village. Tria in Philly is a fine restaurant, but their truffled egg toast is a pale shadow. A close second would be a California Burrito: carne, pico de gallo, cheese, sometimes guacamole and always French fries.
