A good list, I couldn't put Kitchen Confidential down when I started reading it. I can think of a few other books that have been particularly influential on my cooking, but the most exciting cookbook I've read in recent years is Chang/Meehan's Momofuku cookbook. Amazing story, amazing recipes.
