Giveaway: Enter to Win This Panasonic Breadmaker

I'm partial to cinnamon raisin, but once had an amazing dark chocolate and cherry bread (might even be able to replicate it if I had this wonderful thing!)

New York City Wine and Food Festival: Ticket Giveaway, 'Breakfast of Champions'

A champagne cocktail involving St Germain, a fresh lightly salted bagel, smoked salmon, and light cream cheese with a hint of dill. Side of turkey bacon too, please. Magnifique!

Sugar Rush: Patsy's Tiramisu

Best tiramisu I've encountered as of late would be Tre in the Lower East Side followed by Destino in Midtown East. Others I've found pretty to not be particularly memorable.

Sugar Rush: Raspberry Rugelach at Russ & Daughters

I too am a big fan of the rugelach at Zabars. Love the chocolate variety. Sadly, just don't get the chance to go up there often enough to get it!

A friend works in the kitchen at Chanterelle, so always wanted to try. Also been dying to try Bubby's, especially based on the dessert menu!

Restaurants Adding Sneaky Service Charges

Florencia 13 over in the Village did this once to me and my friends. And they hadn't even provided good service. And we were only three. Interesting to see the rules.

Shacktoberfest Ends Today

I was excited I accidentally was there for the final night on Friday. The German chocolate cake concrete was absolutely amazing. I was enticed by the pumpkin one but figured it would be around for more throughout November.

Sweet Ticket Giveaway, Week 3: Pichet Ong's Guilty Pleasure Sweet

I'm obsessed with Reese's Whipps at the moment. In part because I'm convinced they will eventually get the ax in their product line, and they're so darn good! In general though, anything chocolate.
