Who amongst us, has the best pickiest eater story?

My 11-year-old son is living on cheese and peanut butter. He used to eat Lipton chicken and rice; I'd sneak in grated carrots and I'd use chicken stock instead of water. Once he caught me putting in the carrots and now he won't eat it because it's too carroty. Since we don't negotiate with food terrorists (thank you for that advice Alton Brown), if he doesn't like what's on the table he has to feed himself. His two younger brothers eat almost anything we give them, so I don't think it's a learned thing. He ate a much wider variety when he was little but gradually found reasons not to like things. Oh, and he'll eat MOST of a hot dog, but one end is apparently the belly button and he stops about a centimeter before he gets to it.

Williams-Sonoma and Bialetti's New Hot Chocolate Maker

I actually work at W-S, and I would not purchase this pot even with my 40% discount. Aside from being more or less a uni-tasker, the frother floats around in the pot and it makes a big, drippy mess for clean-up. It is really cute, but I can't see what materials or technology make it worth $80. Heat your milk and chocolate in the microwave or on the stove top, then whisk it; the froth won't be as thick, but is froth worth $80?
