International Serious Eats Day: February 25, 2012

I set up a meetup in Plano, TX It's a suburb north of Dallas. Spread the word! I'm surprised no one even started on in the DFW area yet. Since I live in Plano, I figured I'd go ahead and start one here as I'm sure there are fellow SE'ers and foodies around here.

Creative gift ideas for a foodie

There are a few great ideas on this site that I came across a few months ago when I was looking for ideas myself. http://homecookingmemories.com/easy-food-gift-ideas/

Cook the Book: 'The Book of Tapas'

Manchego croquettes are delicious. However, the Boca dillo de tortilla is the best! (Spanish potato omelette on crusty bread with pesto aoli)

"Mushy" brownie recipe?

Check out my recipe for Peanut Butter & Nutella Brownies. You can just omit the Peanut Butter & Nutella if you want plain brownies. The secret is less flour but you have to watch the baking time as all ovens are different. You don't want to overbake them.
