i'm from houston and would have to say this is most similar to the places in houston for the following reasons 1) the butter is housemade and not MAYO substitute, 2) the headcheese is fatty as its supposed to be 3) they do use fresh chili's... just ask for it 3) the pate is also freshly made 4) maggi sauce!
yes 6 bucks is a lil pricey but small price to get a taste of "home"... wish the bread were better though.
