Time for a Drink: The Paloma

I've tried it with these grapefruit sodas (b/c I couldn't find Jarritos anywhere):
Izze : good
G.U.S.: blah (no flavor)
Fresca: terrible (syrupy)...and I usually like Fresca on its own.
Trader Joe's Italian Grapefruit soda: refreshing and delicious w/ a wedge of lime

It's also pretty good with Ocean Spray Ruby Red.

I would like to try it with Ting next!

Koreatown Fried Chicken Faceoff: Mad for Chicken and Kyochon

The only real flaw I've noticed at Mad for Chicken is the loud techno music they blast in your ear in the dining room

Hey that happened to me a few years ago! I wonder if it's the same guy. I was eating yogurt, the guy came and sat down next to me. And then he asked if he could have some of my yogurt! I felt like everybody on the train was waiting for my reaction. I already had a few spoonfuls so I just handed the whole thing over to him. He didn't look homeless either.

Just had the sticky date pudding at Eight Mile Creek last week....it was good but not great. It was also served with cream which was useful in cutting through the sweetness.
