I'm a vegetarian young lady who has a passion for cooking, baking, and joyfully living. My mom has inspired me with her delicious home cooking.
Thank you so much everyone for the tips! I greatly appreciate it! :)
This recipe is soo delicious!! I have had it now a couple times and it's one of the best!
Best Vegan burger
I was in Europe last summer with my best friend and i'm all about hole-in-the-wall places!!! if you would like to, you can check out my food blog I posted about my visit to Europe and all the places I went. Here's the London post:
I hope that helps!! Have the time of your life!!! :) I miss it so much.
hot tea, pretzel rods, fritos, oranges, red vines
I visited Europe last summer and did a lot of research for good restaurants and interesting places to visit along the way on a budget. I wrote a post on my food blog for each city I visited. It may have some useful information for you.
Also I would highly recommend a couple apps if you have a smart phone. Trip It, Air BnB, and Yelp. With Yelp, I did a lot of searching while I was in the states and was able to bookmark places I thought sounded cool. It came in handy when I was in a city looking for places to eat. I could simply check my app as long as I had a wifi connection.
Hope that helps.
I visited Europe last summer. I wrote a couple blog posts about my experiences, being on a tight budget also. I'm a vegetarian so that did effect my choices for places to eat of course. But this may give you some good tips anyway. Feel free to take a look!
I also recommend using Yelp. It helped me a lot because I could search online for places I was interested in and bookmark them. I have the app on my smart phone so i was able to view them from my phone when I had a wifi connection.
I'm sorry I meant to put a "?" at the end. Forgive me if I misled you. I'm looking for ideas not giving them. :)
I agree that you shouldn't have to bring anything. But if you are really wanting to, I think strawberry cake/cupcakes is a fun girly thing to have, or have shirley temples for everyone in cute cups. I have hosted a few baby/bridals showers and had great success. A couple times I got a bag of Lindt truffles at target real cheap to use as prizes. I don't like most games they have at showers. But after much research I have found a handful that I liked. One being one gift that is wrapped in many many layers and you pass around the gift (like musical chairs) and when the music stops that person unwraps a layer, etc. and the person who finally opens the gift gets it. Anyway, hope that helps.
Thank you SO much everyone. Tonight I tried some za'atar (from this website). It was really good! I sprinkled it on pita that I lightly oiled, baked it in the oven until it was a little crispy, and served it with homemade hummus. I really liked the taste of the sumac. I can't wait to try other suggestions you gave. A big thanks to my fellow foodies. I'm going to post this dinner in my blog, if you want to check it out! :)
I have had two dreams now with Starbuck's maple scone which has been sadly discontinued. Haha.
yes, a vegan replacement that was WAY more flavorful!
I found some saffron at whole foods and was looking for a good recipe myself. I found this recipe and posted a blog about it. It was very good! Loved the texture. Such a great easy side!
Crispy Saffron Potatoes!
This recipe is delicious. It's actually vegan. The hardest part is the ricotta cheese replacement, so if you would like to go ahead and use ricotta or cottage cheese, it would be a lot easier. Also, the pictures in this post don't give it justice. It was VERY good!!
Vegan Lasagna with Roasted Cauliflower Ricotta & Spinach
Or I would also be happy to share with you my family's favorite vegetarian lasagna recipe. It's similar to the one here, same sauce.
let me know if you would like it or have any questions.
Looks delicious!! I made some vegan pumpkin pancakes in the past that were the weirdest texture. I couldn't tell if it was cooked or not. haha. These look great.
