What's the difference between a calzone and a stromboli?
It has been my experience that a Stromboli is rolled and a Calzone is half moon shape with crimped edge. I have seen sauce in both but not much and both have been served to me with additional sauce on the side.
I have not heard of any cheese type restrictions or requirements for either dish. Never had or heard of a fried Calzone.

I think the ads are kinda funny, I've had a slice at one of the locations,
and I'm not trying to be unkind but it's not so great. Certainly not a standout.
