Cook the Book: 'How to Roast a Lamb'
There's a fresh juice/sandwich spot in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn that serves a Moroccan Spice Lamb wrap - ground lamb, feta, grilled onions, cucumber sauce, romaine lettuce. When I lived there, I ate about 25 of these. The meat was shaved and tender, the sauce wasn't overpowering, and the feta/meat combination melted in my mouth. And I hate wraps!
I made a burger version of this recently - ground lamb, crumbled feta, a goodly amount of oregano, a bit of cayenne pepper, and made cucumber sauce out of greek yogurt, chopped cucumber and dill. No fuss. It was absolutely delicious.
So I guess both are my favorite lamb recipes.
Watch It with Us: 'Top Chef Las Vegas,' Ep. 11
It seems like Jen is disillusioned with the process, with the challenges, with the judging. She doesn't care about being Top Chef anymore. She's doesn't quite have the competitive fame-seeking personality required to make it all the way.
The way she escorted Robin to the door and showed her kindness - classy. She's my Top Chef.

"Chopped" inspires me to be more creative and ambitious in the kitchen. Sara Moulton is the most pragmatic in her cooking. I've learned a lot from her. Alton's personality is grating and I find him unwatchable. Lidia's quiet reverence is educational in itself.
