With my family being from Chicago, this is a deep rooted contradiction in my life: Think or Thin crust? I have to say I have had pizza far and wide but ever since my visit in Italy this past September, the judgement has been made: Thin for the win. There is nothing better than fresh, thinly rolled dough cooked in a wood fire oven. The great thing about a thin crust pizza...you can eat one all to yourself!
I always put my silverware and glasses in the dishwasher, but when it comes to plates, bowls, tupperware, and pots and pans, the dishwasher just doesn't seem to cut it. I have a friend whose family is from Japan, and they use there dishwasher as a drying rack, they NEVER use the dishwasher for cleaning! I started to utilize this myself and it even cut down on my energy bill.
A favorite of mine that you might like is a Tom Collins, which is simply gin and lemon juice and carbonated water. A favorite for some of my guy friends who enjoy the sweeter things in life!
