What's everybody been doing...?
Hola a todos (hello to all) I am from El Salvador, Central America, a tiny country sandwiched between Guatemala, Honduras and the Pacific Ocean, here is summer all year long, our "winter" (rainy season) is beggining right now, but it doesn't stop us from going to the beach, climb some volcano or go to our many lakes, grilling, or going to sample the seafood cocktails sitting in one of the beachside restaurants. I have been visiting this site for more than a year now and I love it, I've learned many many things, thanks to you all, I'm becoming a foodie.
In Season: Avocados
smashed on a tortilla sprinkled with salt and lemon juice. Or, spread a tortilla with refried beans, top with thinly sliced avocado and a sprinkle of hard cheese.
Easter 2009: What are Your Plans?
we're going for 5 days to the beach, on easter we will have oysters, paella, a big green salad and fresh fruit
