Why not try using an upside down muffin tin and a thicker, more cookie-like batter/dough? Seems to me that you'd get a better result MacGyver-ing your muffin tin...

I'm a gin girl, but haven't found a good recipe to use it in anything. Not sure it's an alcohol that goes well in baked goods...
I made some margarita cupcakes for Cinco de Mayo using Grand Marnier and tequila - they were definitely tasty.

Ohmygoodness - I never thought I'd see the day when pepperoni rolls were made to be common knowledge. I grew up in WV and ate these all through my childhood, and now that I live out-of-state, no one has any idea what I'm talking about! Long live the pepperoni roll! NYT's description is spot on. You can set a roll down on a paper towel, and when you pick it up, the towel's turned bright orange from the pepperoni grease.

Ed Levine's Serious Diet, Week 82: Peanut Butter Portion Control

I can relate...I used to make peanut butter and honey 'soup' as a snack. I would literally scoop out about a cup of peanut butter into a bowl, followed by a healthy drizzle of honey. I would stir it up and eat it straight, although I would occasionally scoop it up with Ritz crackers. It's a a wonder I wasn't an overweight child. I had to give peanut butter up though - I never have it in my house. That, and Nutella. I can't resist either of them.

Dorie Greenspan Cheesecake

Yes - Dorie is the queen bee of baking! I've never in my life made a cheesecake until hers, and I've never had a single problem with it - no cracks, no nothin'! And it tastes incredible! :)

Good to know! I'm leaving the country for vacation for about 10 days, and I'd love to just freeze it and thaw it out for our next meeting. Thank you so much!

Dorie Greenspan Cheesecake

Hi Everyone,
I made the DG cheesecake last night (one of my favorites - this is a no-fail recipe!). However, the weekly event I made it for was canceled. Can I freeze it? Will it keep in the refridgerator? Am I better off to hand it off to a lucky friend or coworker?

Thanks!
Cathy
