sweet and sour red cabbage- he has made it for every holiday since I can remember (and I'm old!)
I'd like to have dinner with Ellen DeGeneres- cheese enchiladas rancheros would be nice
I always give it my best shot each year-sometimes the results make me smile- sometimes not-but this year I am going to concentrate on tomatoes,herbs, crookneck and pattypan squash , japanese eggplant, swiss chard and leaf lettuce
I also think my best timesaver is to take out all ingredients and cooking utensils/pans before starting a dish, and that includes chopping and/or measuring out the ingredients
Italy-for the amazing Mediterranean cuisine
India- for the absolutely fabulous way they use spices
Peru- Latin food that is homey and real

grilled tube steaks (hot dogs, brats, nilgai sausage) and potato salad
Filet mignons topped with blue cheese/garlic butter, baked potatoes and grilled asparagus!!!!! I may be starting early.....
homemade whole wheat crust pizza on the grill with tomato sauce, grilled fresh pineapple, green bell pepper, tomato slices and mozzarella.
