it is a wonderful bakery. EVERYTHING we had was very very delicious- plus, the open kitchen is very cool.

Nice 60th birthday dinner for 6 vegetarians and a 1-year-old

I would suggest caravan of dreams in the east village. it has a great atmosphere and is a small-ish neighborhood joint. the food is fancier than you would think and quite tasty. plus, a group this large would not be a problem at all.

Thanksgiving in NYC

honestly, it's more manageable than you would think. i made thanksgiving last year in a tiny kitchen for my family and my bf's family. it just takes lots of organizing. and yes, you can totally pull off a whole turkey. I made potato leek soup, a roasted squash tart, the traditional sides and had guests bring deserts.
